As one of the best little jobs that I did in 2017, this lovable duck came out looking beautiful. The rig was using all of the most recent technology and updated scripts from my 2017 code base, which made it very advanced while being easier to use than the previous versions of my rig build.
After the first day of being provided the model, I was able to pass back a full-body rig ready to animate and pose. The next week was spent making the facial setup and feather systems. These included dynamic feathers made using Maya's nCloth systems and simple 6-10 joint IK / IK setups.
The animators did a great job here and the final product could not have looked any better!
